My current work for this project was an immersive interactive installation of a mix of 22 drawings (titled ‘Priceless nothings from long walks’), sculpture(made of papier-mache), cotton mattress, text, sound of birds, wildflowers and roses,,and the tree trunk of a tree that lived next door to our home, placed in a gallery room full of fallen dry leaves personally hand-picked by me from a national park in Hyderabad. This is a huge park where I actually happen to go for a walk (often barefoot) most mornings. The idea was to make an experiential artwork involving all the five senses.
The viewers were required to enter barefoot to walk inside the room full of dry leaves and experience the installation.
They were welcomed to express their feelings in cards if they liked to.
